“When you are experiencing one long scream on the inside, God hears the cry of your broken heart. He truly feels your pain. When you have lost someone you love, God really comes calling.”
I can’t imagine the pain you’re going through as I have never experienced such loss, all I know is God is calling us to reach out to each other.
“In the privileged parts of the world, where its easier to access so many resources like this, people are running out of meaningful relationships. Love is in short supply. Nothing seems to last. Folks are running out of purpose and meaning. Many people are depressed, overeating, and desperately searching for comfort and intimacy. And even those in the church are running out of energy and ideas about how to fulfill the great commission and reach our generation with the gospel.”
God is our comforter and He has given us His Holy Spirit to fill us when we are running on empty. When we cry out to Him in the midst of our pain, He listens.
“We have to cast ourselves on God in the middle of the awful mess and see what He will do or whom He will send to help us, for God often does His work through ordinary people.”
“Don’t be afraid to cry out when you run out.”
We have to empty ourselves in order to be filled.
As long as God is present, our lives will never be truly empty.
Everything comes full-circle.
We were placed here on earth to pour out to each other, its the only way we can be filled.
Its only when we are empty that we can be filled.
The world needs believers who are willing to be emptied so they can be filled by the Holy Ghost.
The Spirit’s filling makes it humanly possible to reach out to an empty and broken world.
As believers we need to cry out daily for the filling of the Holy Spirit in order for us to be able to pour out to others and in turn be poured into.
I will pour myself out to you in your time of pain and emptiness for your pain and emptiness is both our opportunity to be filled by God’s indwelling Spirit.
My prayer is that you will be filled by His Holy Spirit and find comfort in Him as you wait on Him to show you His will.
